Miss Dissenter stumbled across Techno for the first time in 1994. It was pure coincidence. A bonus CD found in a Dance Compilation coined her increasing love for that style. Instrumental, electronic music gets into her heart and has not let her go since then.
Between 1996 and 1998, she attended the Higher Technical College for Audiovisual Media and Photography in Graz. In this city she multiplied her experience with electronic music and again acquired Vinyl’s.
In vocational school, she got acquainted with DJ Darren Baxter, who introduced her to the world of Vinyl DJs. A job led Miss Dissenter to Vienna where she socialized with party organizers and the local Technophiles like Kid Pariz Soundlab and Boriqua Tribez.
2001: Djing Pumping Techno was amazing for her. Together with her friends she started home sessions and quickly caught up on everything she needed to know. Tribal Techno, Tech-House and Brazilectro Vinyls were soon added to her collection.
She played as resident DJ for ElectronicMikeTeam in Styria and in clubs like Theatro/p.p.c and Acardium, both in Graz, and her bookings increased considerably.
By the end of 2001, Miss Dissenter got to know Electric Indigo and decided to switch from EMT to Female Pressure.
In 2002, Miss Dissenter took part3 in an “All-Style – DJ Contest�, finished as overall third but ranked first in Techno before Hip Hop and Jungle. That was a solid basis for her increasing fame in Vienna. She turned the tables at the Love Parade in Vienna and currently appears in clubs like FZ WUK, Subzero, and Konkav in Vienna, Theatro/p.c.c and Acardium in Graz, Cazin in Linz….
Miss Dissenter began to play Electro and got to know many other colleagues like Lori J. Ward aka Hifi Princess and members of Tresor-Berlin.
In 2004 she played in Trebija/Slovenia and Miss Dissenter went to spain/mallorca for 1 ½ years. Now she lives in Austria/Wiener Neustadt.
