Hi and welcome to my world!!! this is the bit where i'm supposed to tell you a bit about myself so here goes........!!! ....i've been a DJ for 10 years now and i'm lovin every minute! My journey has taken me through many music styles between the early 80's and today. Music has changed so much but it all comes from the respectable Disco sounds!!! My collection of vinyl and CD's is gettin too large to mention but you'll find all sorts in there from classics to soulful/US house to deep latin vibes to bar grooves and most of all.....just plain FUNKY!!! It all started for me at the one and only Hacienda! I stepped in there and never looked back. I was born. I've had many guest spots around manchester...at Plush ampersand in the early days and also at Club North. I have held residencies at club emoporia for Caged and Filthy Gorgeous, the Paradise factory, boat parties, one central along side jon fitz at the lovely brannigans! ", I've done some local radio shows too and once interview jon fitz which was a great experience!! !!!!PURFEKT CIRCLE NITES !!!! I am currently playing for PURFEKT CIRCLE , @ there fabulous venuse across the north west- SSSH! NITE @ GAIA MANCHESTER. MIDNIGHT AFFAIR @ BOLTON BAR BAES. which is blend of deep soulful- latin vibes -afro beats,house nite, What I love to do is to play some 'after hours' 7am sessions.....you know, after the club when you just wanna chill out and listen to some 'mambos' kinda stuff....or on a summer afternoon on a beach maybe??? you know the kind of stuff i'm talking about.... Early on José Castela aka Michael Ellis developed his fine taste and interest in music. The natural evolution of the electronic sound took him to the beginning of his career and of a big passion, in 1999. The dream of becoming a dj started to gain structure in 2002, with the acquisition of his own djing material but essentially due to his dedication and persistence, which in time made all the difference. In just a few months Michael Ellis began to be a common presence in several events sharing the decks with several famous and respected djs in Portugal.
Michael Ellis has a very unique style, mixing almost perfectly the most recent and the most innovating sounds. A thoughtful and attentive update over the music produced worldwide, has also given him the opportunity to achieve his place on some of the most important clubs and events, receiving the support and recognition of several fans who have surrendered to his musical preferences and to his technique, leaving no one indifferent to his work.
Michael Ellis constant performances in Via Club, Coimbra, were he usually plays from Minimal to Techno, are one of the strongest evidences of the value of a dj who easily presents the dancefloor with the best of electronic music…

Frank Le Blanc began experimenting with music at a young age. With 15 years of age he and his friend began an illegal radio station called Powerplay FM at his parent’s home. After a couple of months of disc jockeying with a 5 Watt transmitter he upgraded to a 40 Watt transmitter. With his new transmitter his airing range increased, thus reaching a bigger group to encounter them with his music and mixes.
This went well for a couple of months, but the RCD Dutch police unit against illegal radio stations pulled the plug. Together with more of his friends, Frank initiated more illegal radio stations. With the following fact that the life-span of an illegal radio station was short and the fines from the RCD became bigger every time when caught, Frank concluded to stop these activities.
His passion for music and mixing was still a flaming desire! So Frank was the resident DJ at Danscentrum de Rijk in the city of Utrecht. Every Saturday night 300 outrageous visitors enjoyed themselves listening to Frank’s sound. One of the strong assets of Frank’s DJ-ing was his interaction with the crowd.
At the same moment Frank’s popularity rose to certain point where he was asked to perform as a DJ at weddings, school party’s and birthdays. Excelling at his work he found time to make his own music and mixes.
Frank Le Blanc’s repertory is best described as trendy and utmost danceable groovy house. It characterizes with drums and vocals accessible for a wide range of music-loving people. And of course for party animals!
